One suggn. It may be worth investing on a shruthi box to accompany you when you are singing songs without any musical background. Not only would it sound richer, but it will help you immensely to stabilize your voice which may go occassionally 1/4 note or more off. For eg. tanha tanha dil apna - the first line is 1/4 note off from the scale you started with. Barring a few glitches it is a fine effort.
