MInchaagi Neenu

I heard about this song from a couple of my friends in Bangalore and got hooked to it since then. This song has shades of the popular Kannada hit song Anisuthide Yaako Indu from the movie Mungaaru Male but still this is a very beautiful song, thanks to the magical voice of Sonu Nigam. I recorded this over the weekend when I was at home. As I don't know even a little bit of Kannada, the diction issues are bound to happen. So pardon me for that and let me know what you think of this. :-)

Impressive! as your other songs.
No issues with diction, even Sonu Nigam must have faced this problem.

Your voice is very good as usual. Accent hmm... Let me put it this way, despite having the greatest playback voice of century, Jesudas still could not make it big in Bollywood (I love his Hindi songs' music but not the accent)

One thing I liked about Sonu Nigam and Udit Narayan is that they didn't find it difficult to sing in Kannada. For Malayalis it's slightly difficult I think. Of course Madhu Balakrishnan and Chitra have done a better job compared to Yesudas in other languages (probbaly barring Tamil).

When can we expect Anisuthide from you?

Hi Ajith

Thanks for your detailed comments. You are right about accent playing a larger role with regards regional acceptance. I am trying to do better with each songs, like I do for the Hindi songs these days. :-)

Thank you very much for your comments.
